World Vision Zambia, in collaboration with Varun Beverages (Z) Ltd and the #MinistryofGreenEconomyandEnvironment, has planted 1,000 indigenous and 500 fruit trees in five schools in Chongwe, namely, Mulalika, Nyabombwe, Twikatane, Chilyabale and Musolokeni Primary schools.

This initiative is aimed to trigger the development of a culture of planting/preserving trees for commercial purposes, home use, and #climateresilience, which will help #children and the communities begin to understand and appreciate the value of #trees within their surroundings.
