World Vision and VisionFund in Zambia co-hosted the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 Day of Prayer (DoP) at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Lusaka on Friday, October 1, 2021.

The DoP was celebrated under the theme, 'Hope and Joy in God' taken from the book of Romans 13:15, which says “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Speaking during the event, World Vision Zambia National Director John Hasse said, "We take time to reflect and remind ourselves that regardless of the challenges posed by COVID-19, we will continue to joyfully impact the lives of the vulnerable children because we believe and trust that our Lord will give us the victory that we need. Through him, we will face FY22 with Hope and Joy."

The Day of Prayer was attended by over 160 members of staff from World Vision and VisionFund in Lusaka, with other staff members meeting in various locations around the country.
