Yadika Mkandawire

Yadika Mkandawire is World Vision Zambia Limited’s General Counsel. She is responsible for all legal, governance, compliance, and risk matters. She joined World Vision Zambia on 15 April 2024. Before joining World Vision Zambia, Yadika was Chief Legal Officer at ZCCM Investments Holdings Plc, a public company with a primary listing on the Lusaka Stock Exchange and a secondary listing on the London and Euronext Stock Exchanges. She has also served at the Zambia Development Agency and Ministry of Justice as Senior Legal Officer and State Advocate respectively.

Yadika has seventeen (17) years of experience as an in-house counsel. Her areas of expertise cover commercial law, corporate law, employment law, tort, compliance, and conveyancing. She also has been involved in the resolution of significant legal disputes and the provision of legal advice in complex commercial transactions.

Yadika holds a Master of Laws degree (LLM)from the University of London, with specialization in commercial and corporate law, and a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from the University of Zambia. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Zambia.
